Born and raised in Denmark, Eva Jensen studied Architecture at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture (KADK), in Copenhagen, and the Politecnico in Milan. Upon graduation, Eva Jensen was invited to teach Architecture as an assistant professor at KADK. Following years of inspiration from teaching, Eva Jensen decided to transition from academia and focus on practicing architecture.
Continuing to pursue an international career Eva Jensen has practiced in Denmark, Italy, London and New York with a body of work that encompasses a wide range of projects that include Museums, Educational Institutions, New Corporate Office Buildings, Airport and City Master Planning. While practicing in New York, Eva Jensen has developed a well regarded niche in high-end Residential Architecture.
Following work with renowned Architecture firms including: Angelo Mangiarotti in Milan; Michael Hopkins & Partners in London; Henning Larsen Architects in Copenhagen; and Shelton Mindel in New York, Eva Jensen founded her own Architecture and Design studio in 2005, and is based in New York City.
Whether through academia or her many years in private practice across diverse branches of Architecture, Eva Jensen has aspired to design for the highest possible levels and quality standards. To unify space, structure and detail into an elegant cohesive whole. At different points throughout her career, as an assistant professor at KADK, and later as a practicing architect, Eva has dedicated time to in-depth research and development to produce notable installations and public exhibitions. Eva Jensen believes that an Architectural practice should be ingrained with enduring academia and an enthusiasm for design innovation. Always striving for transformation and further progress. Granted Residencies at both the Danish Institute in Rome and Athens, Eva Jensen is a recipient of Awards, and a design patent.
With Danish origins and informed by her Nordic heritage, Eva Jensen offers elegant aesthetics, a secure vision, and a comprehensive hands-on approach to Architecture and Design. Eva Jensen designs give shape to spaces and objects, that are motivated by function, and infused with poetry, connecting people with culture and nature. The studio creates timeless design, tailored for the individual, bringing joy and value to all.

We offer a focused mindset, a thorough and thoughtful process, and a commitment for giving form to the needs and desires of our clients. We create elegant aesthetics with notions of simplicity in architecture and interior design, and provide sound expertise to make certain that projects, at conclusion, are functional and have atmosphere. We direct our energy and resolve to advocate that construction is completed with high quality standards, efficiency and within a project framework of budget, schedule and scope.

We draw inspiration from nature, it’s enduring strength, ingenuity, and it’s brilliant structures, compositions and engineering, developed through the evolution of time. The elements, that are part of nature, offer us insight and direction.
With an aspiration to connect people with culture and nature, we create spaces and atmospheres that can empower to reveal life’s promises and fulfill it’s potential.
HOW WE DO IT
HOW WE DO IT
Our methodology is shaped by an analytic, artistic and systematic mindset. We develop our work through inspirational references, research and thorough analysis of client program and site context. We offer an understanding of structures and a sensibility of natural light, materials, and color with a meticulous concern for detail. Our distilled design solutions are complimented by an eloquent architectural vocabulary.
Encouraging our clients to express their thoughts and ideas we approach projects with a determination to transform these intentions into buildable designs within the constructs of budget, scope and schedule.
Our approach to design begins with listening, and learning from our client, studying their design needs and observing the project site. We seek to extract the essence of function, form and site while realizing the full potential in context of space.
Our final design solutions are developed to tie all parts into a cohesive whole with a narrative that revolves around simplicity, elegance and functionality.
During the build process our team works closely with the various contractors, fabricators and consultants, and are engaged in the construction site process. We provide expertise, diligence and perseverance in management of the project throughout to ensure a timely completion.
Interior services are managed in parallel with construction, to ensure upon conclusion that furnishings are completed with furniture, accessories and artwork in place. This additional coordination, and sense of urgency we provide, means our clients can move in without delay. Enabling them to resume life in their new personal residences, and with commercial clients, gain time to generate new business.
